Job Description

Acid Pump Truck Operators are responsible for safely operating trucks to state, federal and company guidelines and requirements. Operate an acid pump truck to haul various oil field-related fluids to kill and/or control the flow of oil and gas wells. Picks up these fluids at various oil field well services, drilling or production locations within the work area and transports to another location. Communicate effectively daily with co-workers, customers, clients and management. Operate an acid pump truck and transport oil field related fluids to kill and/or control the flow of oil and gas wells. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Management reserves the right to change or modify the functions of the job as required to meet the needs of the organization. Works with ethics, honesty, values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others. Maintains all required log books, DVIR and all other DOT requirements on a daily basis. Keeps up with hours of service (HOS) to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Completes work tickets for jobs legibly, timely and with full detailed description of daily activity. Performs complete pre/post trip inspections. Reports all maintenance problems to supervisor to ensure vehicle compliance and safety. Maintains a clean and safe working environment both in the shop and their Company vehicle. Communicates with truck pusher throughout the day to deliver, move or pick up fluids for customers. Drives the truck to and from the loading station to the customer's location(s), disposal site(s), and back to the office location. Loads and unloads various fluids by using hoses connected to the truck. Monitors fluids required for the job based on customers' needs and other requirements. Fosters a positive working relationship with co-workers, customers, clients and management. Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis. Responsible for answering company issued cell phone during on call hours, in accordance with company and safety policies. Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
Pay:
$27.00 - $29.50 per hour
License/Certification:
Class A CDL (Required) Tanker Endorsement (Required)
