Key Responsibilities The primary focus of this position involves the safe operation of heavy-duty vehicles while navigating diverse routes and job site conditions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure all equipment remains in peak mechanical condition and complies with safety regulations. Daily tasks include managing transport schedules, securing loads effectively to prevent damage or shifting during transit, and maintaining accurate logs of mileage and fuel. Beyond driving, you will collaborate closely with on-site supervisors to coordinate deliveries and assist with loading or unloading procedures as required by the specific needs of each project.

Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License and a clean driving record that reflects a deep commitment to road safety. We require a minimum of two years of professional experience driving heavy equipment or large commercial vehicles, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in maneuvering and vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate functions well in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills for interacting with team members, and maintains the physical stamina necessary for securing loads and operating in outdoor settings. A local residency in or near Brownwood is preferred to ensure timely attendance and familiarity with regional routes.
