We are a growing, locally owned trucking company with newer, well-maintained equipment and consistent freight. We're looking for a professional driver who already has flatbed/step-deck and oversize experience and understands proper load securement. This is not an entry-level flatbed position.

% of what the truck grosses Home every weekend Consistent freight Texas and surrounding states 1099 position No forced dispatch Direct communication with owner/dispatch Your pay is percentage based — the more the truck makes, the more you make.

EQUIPMENT

You'll be assigned a: 2021 Freightliner Cascadia 53' Low-Profile Step Deck We take care of our equipment and expect our drivers to do the same. FREIGHT Our step-deck work includes a variety of open-deck freight throughout Texas and surrounding states.

Drivers must be comfortable with:

Step-deck and flatbed freight Oversize loads Chains and binders Straps and edge protection Proper load securement Tarping as needed Permitted loads Pre-trip and post-trip inspections

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have: Valid Class A CDL Minimum 2 years CDL-A driving experience Previous flatbed or step-deck experience Oversize hauling experience Strong knowledge of load securement Ability to safely tarp freight when required Good driving record Dependable transportation to/from Bryan/College Station area Strong communication skills Ability to properly inspect and care for assigned equipment Being mechanically inclined is a major plus.
