Night Vacuum Truck Driver- Must live < 45 min of Carthage, TX

Job Description

Job Summary This position will be responsible for the safe operation of truck and vacuum trailer, to and from assigned locations. You will load and unload oilfield fluids and haul to properly dispose of the oilfield fluids. Must communicate with dispatch to receive next load assignments.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Haul and dispose of oilfield related fluids while safely operating a vacuum tractor and trailer unit. Inspect truck and trailer for defects before and after trips and report any discrepancies indicating truck condition. Must be able to drop and spot trailers on the appropriate yard. The ability to back trailers in and out of designated areas without damaging surrounding vehicles or property. Maneuvers trailers in and around tight corners, through manufacturing areas and around high traffic zones. Obey all traffic laws set by the state and federal government and comply with DOT guidelines. Must chock wheels and use provided cones per backing procedures. Must be able to enter data into tablet using correct software, Geo Tab, IronSight, and Centauri applications. Maintain satisfactory customer service.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one plus years' experience driving Combination vehicle (tractor trailer) in a DOT-regulated environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Requirements Must live within 60 min radius of Godley, TX Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and clean driving record Minimum of one year experience operating a diesel truck with trailer in a DOT-regulated environment Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Must follow all DOT, Pinnergy and customer safety rules and regulations. Must have the ability to maneuver and back up a tractor trailer.
