Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Driver/Technician to join our team! This role combines the essential responsibilities of operating company vehicles with providing expert technical support for equipment maintenance and repair. As a Driver/Technician, you will ensure timely delivery of equipment, parts, and tools to various field sites while performing hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment, parts, and tools to designated locations across multiple sites. Perform routine inspections of vehicles and ensure compliance with safety standards. Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment using hand tools and specialized calibration devices. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines to identify issues accurately. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document service activities, track maintenance history, and schedule future repairs. Execute calibration procedures on sensitive equipment, ensuring accuracy according to manufacturer specifications. Assist in preventive maintenance tasks, equipment repair, and troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge and technical skills. Support field service operations by providing timely technical assistance and ensuring equipment is operational for client needs. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. Familiarity with OEM guidelines, schematics, and calibration procedures. Experience working with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Strong field service background with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently on-site. Proficiency in using hand tools, computer hardware, and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) or similar specialized equipment is a plus. Ability to read technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial or company vehicles preferred.
