Driver - Manufacturing Operations

Job Description

Local Aerospace Manufacturing Company is seeking a delivery driver. The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of raw materials, work-in process, and finished goods between the company's manufacturing facility, customers, and vendors. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles pickup/trailer and occasionally 15-ft box truck to: transport materials, components, and finished products between company locations. Deliver products to customer locations and pick up supplies from vendors. Move materials to/from third-party logistics providers or contract manufacturers. Plan routes and schedules in coordination with dispatch/logistics to meet delivery and pickup times while complying with traffic laws and applicable hours-of-service. Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1-year of safe driving experience pulling a trailer. Physical ability to perform lifting of 50 pounds. Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments including purchasing, merchandising, logistics, and suppliers. Hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
