Position Overview We're looking for a motivated and responsible individual ready to start immediately. In this role, you'll ensure the safe and timely collection of waste materials using a fully automated side loader garbage truck.

Work Schedule:

Collection Days:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday Yard Day (Wednesday): Deliver and set up new trash cans, power wash trucks, perform full pre-trip inspections, light maintenance, and other essential tasks. Work schedule includes early morning shifts to ensure timely service. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a fully automated side loader garbage truck to collect and transport waste materials. Demonstrate excellent heavy truck driving skills; Follow assigned routes and schedules with precision. Communicate effectively with the Route Manager via phone and text. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure efficient and safe completion of daily responsibilities. Safely perform frequent reverse maneuvers when servicing customers, demonstrating strong backing skills in tight or challenging spaces. Handle routine preventative maintenance and coordinate service appointments when needed. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned truck. Deliver and set up new trash cans weekly. Operate a pickup truck and trailer combo for deliveries. Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times. Requirements Valid Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and clean driving record. Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, random drug/alcohol testing, background check, and ongoing CDL record checks. Strong English language skills; Spanish is a plus. Previous experience operating garbage trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift, without reasonable accommodations. Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations. Must be available to work all scheduled shifts, including holidays and some Saturdays as needed. Must be at least 18 years of age. Additional Information Truck yard located near Cleveland, TX; most routes run along Highway 105.
