Job Description

Buzzcutters Landscaping is a fast-growing landscape construction and maintenance company serving the DFW corridor. We're looking for a driven Crew Leader who can take full ownership of a team in the field — running the job from start to finish without hand-holding. This role is built for someone who wants to grow: we're actively developing our next Foreman who will oversee crews and manage jobs closer to independently. If you can lead people, operate a trailer, and take pride in doing the work right, this is your seat.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead a field crew day-to-day — assign tasks, set the pace, and hold the team accountable to quality and efficiency Execute landscape construction and installation projects including hardscapes, plantings, irrigation, sod, and outdoor living builds Safely operate company trucks and trailers to transport crew and equipment to job sites across the DFW corridor Follow job scopes and directions precisely — complete assignments on schedule and report progress back to operations Enforce safety standards and company policies on every job site Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to keep tools field-ready Communicate clearly with clients on-site and with management to keep jobs running smoothly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Hands-on experience in landscape construction and installations — you know the work, not just the theory Demonstrated ability to lead a team independently and see assignments through to completion Valid driver's license with a clean record; comfortable pulling a trailer in all conditions Working knowledge of lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation, sod, and general horticulture Self-starter who follows directions exactly and doesn't need constant oversight to perform Physically capable of sustained outdoor work — lifting, digging, operating machinery for full shifts
