Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including flatbeds and box trailers ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Duties Safely operate trucks, including manual transmission and automatic vehicles and specialized equipment. Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by DOT regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays during transport. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading materials at various locations. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the truck both inside and out. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles. Familiarity with loading/unloading procedures for various types of freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required.
