Job Description

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants. We are hiring Mixer Operators for our West Gulf Coast Division. The Mixer Operator is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck, delivering loads to commercial and residential work sites. Duties include, but are not limited, to the following: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Abide by all federal, state and local traffic laws. Perform daily pre/post trip inspections. Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to correct job sites. Maintain the cleanliness of the ready-mix truck and report any required maintenance. Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Required Skills and Experience:
Valid Texas CDL - Class A or B required and ability to pass an MVR verification. Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and maintain a valid DOT medical card. Able to follow directions and guidance from supervisors and management. Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and early mornings, with daily schedules that may vary.
