Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, seeks a Vac Sales and Service Rep to sell and deliver vacuum truck services supporting environmental and recycling programs. In this field-based role, you'll visit industrial, automotive, and commercial sites to collect used oil and waste fluids, operate and maintain vac equipment, and ensure DOT, safety, and environmental compliance. You'll build customer relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and complete manifests and service documentation while working within a safety-first, teamwork-focused culture that offers training and development. Responsibilities Perform vacuum truck sales and service for industrial, automotive, and commercial customers in the Utilities & Energy sector Visit customer sites to collect used oil, waste liquids, and environmental materials following strict safety and environmental regulations Operate and maintain vacuum equipment, hoses, and related tools; complete pre- and post-trip inspections Prepare quotes, recommend service solutions, and upsell Safety-Kleen environmental and recycling programs Complete required manifests, logs, and compliance documentation accurately and on time Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and sales teams to plan efficient service routes and schedules Follow all Safety-Kleen and Clean Harbors safety procedures, PPE requirements, and incident reporting protocols Provide professional customer service, address service issues, and build long-term client relationships Participate in ongoing safety, environmental, and technical training Assist with equipment cleaning, minor maintenance, and facility tasks as needed Required Skills Vacuum truck operation Industrial field service DOT and hazardous materials handling basics Environmental and waste handling procedures Sales and account management Customer relationship management Route planning and time management Safety and PPE compliance Regulatory documentation and manifests Mechanical aptitude for equipment inspection and minor maintenance
