This is a local driving position with drivers home daily . Our trucks are automatic-transmission day cabs pulling belly dump trailers. We are looking for dependable drivers who take pride in their work, maintain a clean driving record, and understand the importance of safe and efficient hauling operations. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience . Previous belly dump experience is strongly preferred, and drivers must understand standard belly dump operating procedures, safety protocols, loading, hauling, and unloading practices. Compensation Drivers are paid 25% of the truck's daily earnings . Drivers can expect to earn at least $300 per day, with the opportunity to earn more depending on the number and type of trips completed each day. We work to find the best and most convenient routes and hauling jobs available for our drivers , with the goal of providing consistent work while maximizing daily earning opportunities. Responsibilities Safely operate an automatic-transmission day cab with a belly dump trailer throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Follow all DOT, state, local, and company safety regulations. Properly perform standard belly dump loading, hauling, and unloading procedures . Follow established belly dump operating and safety protocols at job sites, loading facilities, and unloading locations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Monitor equipment and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns. Safely maneuver trucks and trailers at construction sites, material yards, pits, and other hauling locations. Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routes, loads, job locations, and trip status. Complete assigned trips safely and efficiently while maintaining professional conduct. Keep required driver logs, trip documentation, and other records accurate and up to date. Maintain cleanliness and take proper care of assigned equipment. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required. Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience required. Clean driving record strongly preferred. Belly dump hauling experience strongly preferred. Must understand standard belly dump operating procedures, safety protocols, and proper loading/unloading practices . Comfortable operating automatic-transmission commercial trucks . Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Ability to safely maneuver a tractor-trailer in job sites and material yards. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Strong communication skills and ability to follow dispatch instructions.
