We are seeking skilled and responsible individuals to join our logistics team and help us transport fresh produce locally in the McAllen

• Edinburg Area. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that produce is picked up and delivered on time.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Transportation:
• Safely operate heavy and tractor-trailer trucks to transport fresh produce locally. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
• Perform daily inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in safe and proper working condition. Report any vehicle issues to management.
• Compliance:
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies to ensure safety on the road. Maintain accurate records of hours, routes, and delivery logs.
• Load Management:
• Assist with loading and unloading produce to ensure proper weight distribution and secure placement. Verify delivery orders before and after transport to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Customer Interaction:
• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries. Address any questions or concerns with courtesy and efficiency.
• Safety Protocols:
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of self, other drivers, and the general public. Utilize appropriate safety gear and equipment as necessary.
• Communication:
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and logistics team regarding delivery schedules, traffic delays, or other relevant issues. Use communication devices responsibly and according to company policy.
• Qualifications:
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a heavy and tractor-trailer truck driver.
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle long hours.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working Conditions:
• You will be responsible for driving in various weather conditions.
• Flexible working hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on delivery schedules.
• Some Overtime, normally it's a 50
• 55 hour a week job.
• Monday through Friday and rotate Saturdays.
• Only Local Driving, McAllen to Edinburg Area.
• No Long-Haul Trips, only Local.
