Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating end dump trucks to transport sand and gravel efficiently and safely to various local job sitesThis role is essential in supporting our construction and excavation operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining high safety standards. Duties Operate CDL-end dump trucks to transport sand and gravel to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and securement of materials during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety and compliance standards. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Assist with basic vehicle maintenance when necessary to ensure optimal operation. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating end dump trucks. Proven experience operating dump trucks, preferably in transporting construction materials like sand and gravel. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and material handling. Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks. Good communication skills and a dependable work ethic. Physical ability to load, unload, and secure heavy materials as required. Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
