Overview Join our dynamic team as a Regional Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across designated regions with energy and precision! This vital role involves operating various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, to ensure timely and safe deliveries. You'll navigate OTR (Over the Road) routes using advanced GPS navigation systems, handle logistics cargo with care, and comply fully with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials guidelines. Lane Details All loads are high value and pre-loaded by our DC in Flower Mound, TX. Loads are delivered to customers with the operating area. Driver must adhere to strict departure times to comply with hour of service. $0.67 cpm. Drivers are also paid short haul, drop/hook, detention, layover, and temporary work. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks—including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers—on regional and OTR routes to deliver freight efficiently. Load and unload cargo with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing and compliance with safety standards. Navigate routes using GPS navigation tools to optimize delivery times and maintain schedule integrity. Transport hazardous materials (Hazmat) and dangerous goods following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Manage automobile transportation when required, including securing vehicles for safe transit. Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations during all phases of driving, loading, unloading, and delivery. Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or safety concerns to maintain operational momentum. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of freight transported (e.g., Hazmat endorsement preferred). Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various truck configurations such as tractor-trailers or flatbeds. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, and other specialized loads. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving. Ability to load & unload freight manually or using equipment while maintaining safety standards. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance during over-the-road routes.
