Job Description

As a CDL Driver at PODS, you'll safely operate company vehicles to deliver, pick up, and reposition portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll perform DOT-compliant inspections, secure loads, and navigate urban and suburban environments, often maneuvering in tight spaces. In this customer-facing role, you'll provide friendly, solution-oriented service at every stop, support teammates, and strictly follow safety procedures. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicles to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers for residential and commercial customers. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and comply with all DOT and company safety standards. Secure containers, manage loading zones, and maneuver vehicles in tight or crowded areas. Provide courteous, solution-oriented service at each stop, answering questions and resolving basic issues on-site. Accurately complete logs, delivery documentation, and use handheld or mobile dispatch systems. Communicate with dispatch and team members to manage routes, schedules, and changing customer needs. Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and represent PODS in alignment with company values.
