Job Description

JLBJ Septic Services is currently hiring a dependable and hardworking CDL Septic Pump Truck Driver to join our team.
SCHEDULE & PAY
Monday-Friday Start time: 7:00 AM until daily tickets/routes are completed Weekends off Paid weekly Weekly overtime is often available
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate a septic pump truck on assigned daily routes Pump residential and commercial septic systems Follow daily routes, service tickets, and instructions provided by office personnel Coordinate with office personnel throughout the day regarding customer questions, scheduling, service tickets, access issues, or changes Communicate professionally with customers while on-site Collect customer payments when required and properly turn in payments and paperwork to the office Accurately complete all service tickets and required documentation Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the truck and equipment Properly operate hoses, pumps, and other septic pumping equipment Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements Report equipment, vehicle, or customer issues to the office promptly
REQUIREMENTS
Valid CDL required Minimum of 1 year CDL driving experience preferred Must be at least 21 years old Clean/acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a drug screening Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Must be able to work independently while staying in communication with office personnel throughout the day Previous septic pump truck experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right CDL driver. We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, hardworking, and able to provide professional customer service.
