The Ideal candidate will the responsible for safe and efficient movement of trailers within our yard and offside yard. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of vehicle and equipment, as well as the ability to work in a fast pace environment. The yard hostler plays a crucial role insuring that our operations runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties:

Safely maneuver and position trailers, containers, and other equipment in the yard. Operate various types of vehicles including tractor, trailers, lift gates trailers and freight transport vehicles. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in the lading ad unloading freight as needed. Maintain accurate records of movement and activities within the yard Collaborate with other team members to optimize yard operations and improve efficiency. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles in the yard.

Hours of Operations:

Sunday to Thursday Day and Night shift available 8- 10 hour shift

Requirements:

CDL A ( Required) Must have 2-3 years of current experience Clean Safety Records MVR and Background checks required
