Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and experience the thrill of delivering essential freight across long distances! Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on OTR routes, including refrigerated trailers, and, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries across multiple states or regions Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checks on manual transmission systems and refrigeration units when applicable Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports while following all safety protocols for manual handling and cargo security Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly Experience Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving Prior experience operating refrigerated trailers, or other specialized equipment preferred Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, hazardous materials handling, and dangerous goods transportation Experience in load & unload operations, including truck loading/unloading procedures for freight such as freight containers or automotive parts Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission trucks safely over long-distance routes while complying with all safety standards Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures and route driving best practices Embark on a rewarding career that combines adventure with responsibility!
