Drivers must meet qualification standards that are job-related and consistent with business necessity and must be able to perform the "essential functions" of the position, which are as follows:
DRIVER MUST
Be fully qualified before he/she can drive a Truck-Trailer combination. Be knowledgeable on all aspects of Flatbed duties. Follow all State and Federal Regulations. Be able to work regular and peak seasonal hours. Be able to climb into the cab of a truck and/or on top of a trailer without physical strain. Wear the Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) when required and/or proper clothing suitable for particular job to be performed. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and trip activities using ELD system (will train on ELD). Be able to prepare all paperwork required and turn it into the office in a timely manner. Be able to work at full duty status as we do not offer light duty work due to the type of work requirements such as climbing, lifting, bending, squatting and being vigilant to surroundings as well as working under irregular weather conditions. (Tankers/Flatbed Drivers)
