Lead Dump Truck Driver / Trucking Operations Lead TXP Construction Group TXP Construction Group is looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver who wants the opportunity to do more than just drive a truck. We have quality, well-maintained trucks and an established construction operation. We are looking for the right person to help lead and grow our trucking operation . This is a hands-on position. You will drive every day, haul material, work with our construction crews and customers, and be trusted to represent TXP Construction Group in the field. As the trucking operation grows, we want this person to take greater responsibility for coordinating trucks, drivers, schedules, customers, and daily trucking operations. What We're Looking For We aren't just looking for someone with a CDL. We are looking for someone who: Takes pride in their truck and equipment Shows up consistently and on time Understands dump truck and construction hauling Can communicate professionally with customers, contractors, pits, and jobsite personnel Can think ahead and solve problems without needing constant direction Understands that reliability and communication are critical in trucking Can eventually help coordinate and lead other drivers Represents the company professionally everywhere they go Wants an opportunity to help build something, not simply collect a paycheck Responsibilities Operate dump trucks safely and professionally Haul dirt, aggregate, base, rock, sand, demolition material, and other construction materials Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain a clean and professional truck Communicate with dispatch, project managers, customers, pits, and jobsites Coordinate closely with TXP construction crews Help keep trucking schedules organized and efficient Identify equipment or maintenance issues before they become major problems Maintain accurate tickets, load information, and required documentation Help establish expectations and accountability as additional drivers are added Take increasing responsibility for the trucking operation as it grows Qualifications Valid CDL Clean and insurable driving record Dump truck or construction hauling experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of truck safety and basic maintenance Dependable and self-motivated Good communication skills Professional attitude and appearance Ability to work independently and make good decisions Leadership or dispatch experience is a plus, but not required The Opportunity This position has the potential to become much more than a driving job. We are building the trucking side of TXP Construction Group and want someone who can become a key person in that operation . The right individual will have the opportunity to earn additional responsibility as we add trucks, drivers, customers, and hauling work. You don't need to come in knowing how to run an entire trucking company. You do need to be dependable, capable, professional, and willing to take ownership . We will provide the equipment and opportunity. We need someone we can trust to represent TXP Construction Group and help us build the operation the right way.
