Job Description

Duties:
  • Transport between our three locations (Texas, Michigan and Tennessee) as well as to customers.
  • Safely operate a Semi trailer with a HazMat endorsement.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as required.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.
  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past [5] years.
  • Familiarity with load/unload procedures and the use of forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.
Skills:
  • Proficient in operating commercial vehicles and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS systems or paper maps to follow assigned routes.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively.
  • Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
