TMS is currently looking for a Haul Truck Driver at our Jewett, TX location.

Schedule:

Rotating 12hr shifts / Nights and Weekends included

Pay:

$17 - $18 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Haul truck within the steel mill. Transport materials such as scrap metal, slag, and steel products to appropriate areas. Ensure all machines and equipment are properly maintained and report any malfunctions. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling and cleaning equipment. Ability to clearly communicate over 2-way radio with other operators in and around working areas. Ability to work rotating 12 hr. shifts Nights and Weekends included. Work closely with TMS supervisors, maintenance teams, and safety personnel to address any issues or improvements.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and conduct pre and post operational walk arounds. Basic math skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to use a smart tablet for all aspects of the job. Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
