Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Winch Truck Driver, where your expertise in commercial trucking and cargo handling will drive our success forward! In this vital role, you will operate specialized winch trucks to transport and load various freight, including refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials, and flatbed or tanker loads. Your skills in route navigation, safety compliance, and manual handling will ensure timely deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving prowess while contributing to efficient logistics operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties Safely operate CDL-certified tractor-trailers equipped with winch mechanisms for loading and unloading freight, including hazardous and dangerous goods Navigate complex routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse OTR routes Load and unload freight with precision, utilizing manual handling techniques and adhering to safety protocols for truck loading and unloading Transport refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile carriers while maintaining compliance with hazardous materials regulations Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting during transit, ensuring compliance with FMCSA and hazardous materials regulations Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, including checking load security, brake systems, lights, and safety equipment Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight transportation across long-distance routes Hands-on experience with truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operation, flatbed hauling, tanker driving, or automobile transportation is highly desirable Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) Skilled in manual transmission operation and manual handling techniques for cargo management Strong GPS navigation skills for route planning and real-time adjustments during deliveries Delivery driver experience involving route driving, load & unload activities, and managing dangerous goods safely Join us as a CDL Winch Truck Driver if you're passionate about driving excellence, safety compliance, and delivering critical freight efficiently!
