Description:
Summary of Position The primary responsibility of the Driver, CDL - Winch Truck is to meet the equipment needs of Graco customers by delivering and returning equipment in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner. Essential Functions Operate winch tractor / trailer to deploy and retrieve Graco equipment to various oilfield locations. Perform loading, unloading, and delivering of equipment between Graco locations and customer oilfield sites. Deliver tools to vendors for repairs and pick-up repaired tools Deliver fuel to units in the field as required Performing inspection on assigned vehicle and trailers needed to deliver equipment safely on public roadways, ensuring all trucks & trailers meet DOT specifications Maintain accurate driver logs in the electronic logbook and submit daily along with other required documentation according to company guidelines. Completing equipment return sheet when assigned to return equipment to a location/yard and obtaining "sign-off" by the dispatcher verifying the receipt of the returned equipment Maintain and obtain repair of truck and trailer equipment as required Perform other related duties as assigned by the Store Manager Ability to drive, remain deployed to field and/or wait on location for long periods of time Ability to manage client/customer relationships; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively and professionally represent Graco.
Requirements:
Skills/Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent Must possess a valid and current CDL driver's license Must be at least 21 years of age 6+ months of recent CDL A driving experience Must be able to meet DOT medical standards as well as the physical demands of the position including (but not limited to); manually loading/unloading trucks lifting up to 100 lbs. Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass, a pre- employment drug test, driver's license review check and criminal background check. Must be registered and receive a clear a query through the FMSCA Clearinghouse database
