Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in handling various types of cargo, including flatbed, tanker, and oilfield materials, will ensure timely deliveries while adhering strictly to all federal and state regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills and contribute to our commitment to reliable logistics service. Bulldog works with in a 150 mile radius. Local work home every day. M/F work week with one weekend out of the month on call. If you don't get called out the weekend you are on call we pay you 2 hours for being on call. Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across local routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Manage various cargo types including oilfield work hauling slat water, mud, brine water and dirty water to location and disposals Use GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time navigation adjustments to meet delivery schedules efficiently. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, trailer, and cargo to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate deliveries, manage route driving efficiently, and handle any unforeseen issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks is preferred. Ability to handle various types of trailers including tanker vacuum trailers, flatbeds, low boy trailer Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

$21.00 - $28.00 per hour
