Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. As a CDL A Driver, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions across designated routes. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or roll-off trucks. Deliver freight accurately to various locations, adhering to route schedules and delivery deadlines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports. Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding route progress and any issues encountered during deliveries. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit and handle special freight such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when required. Requirements Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred. Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is a plus. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving. Strong route driving skills with excellent time management abilities. Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Join us in delivering excellence every mile! Pay:
$1,300.00 - $1,800.00 per week
