Agility Equipment Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Waste Management Specialist to operate septic pump trucks and transport waste-related equipment, including trash trailers, combo trailers, and roll-off dumpsters. This role requires confident operation of a 1-ton truck and trailer, knowledge of safe towing and load securement, and the ability to manage septic-waste collection, transport, documentation, and authorized disposal. Position Summary The Waste Management Specialist performs field-based waste-management and hauling work while representing Agility Equipment Services professionally at customer sites, disposal facilities, and on public roadways. The position is responsible for maintaining equipment, following route and safety procedures, completing service records, and ensuring waste is transported and disposed of in compliance with applicable company, facility, and regulatory requirements. Texas regulates the transport of domestic septage (septic tank waste) through its sludge-transporter program, and transporters must maintain collection/disposal records and submit annual reporting as applicable. Essential Duties Operate and maintain a septic pump truck for scheduled and emergency septic-waste pumping, collection, transport, and disposal. Drive a 1-ton pickup truck while towing trash trailers, combo trailers, roll-off dumpsters, and other assigned trailers or equipment. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine equipment inspections, including tires, brakes, lights, couplers, safety chains, breakaway systems, hoses, pumps, tanks, valves, and load-security components. Safely connect, disconnect, back, maneuver, load, unload, and secure trailers and dumpsters at customer sites and designated disposal locations. Pump septic tanks, holding tanks, portable sanitation units, or similar waste containers in accordance with established operating procedures. Verify disposal-site acceptance requirements and dispose of waste only at approved, authorized facilities. Complete accurate tickets, manifests, pump-out reports, disposal receipts, route logs, mileage records, inspection forms, and customer service documentation. Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of trucks, trailers, tanks, hoses, tools, and work areas. Identify equipment defects, leaks, unsafe conditions, customer-site hazards, or regulatory concerns; promptly report them to management. Follow all company safety rules, traffic laws, PPE requirements, spill-prevention procedures, and emergency-response protocols. Assist with the placement, movement, delivery, pickup, and inventory tracking of dumpsters, trailers, and related equipment. Communicate professionally with customers, site contacts, disposal-facility personnel, vendors, and Agility Equipment Services management. Support other fleet, yard, delivery, maintenance, and operations assignments as business needs require.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 70.0 per week
