Job Description

About Us:

We are a local family-owned beverage distributor located on HWY 46 We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, ensuring our products are transported safely and delivered to our local customers on time.

What You'll Do:

Safely operate a company-provided cargo van to deliver orders. (no CDL required) Most days you will start and end your day at the New Braunfels warehouse. Once a week, typically on a Wednesday or Thursday, you will drive to Dallas or Houston to service customers there. This will require an overnight. We will provide for a hotel and a food and beverage allowance Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle. Review orders before departure to ensure accuracy and completeness. Provide friendly, professional customer service during drop-offs, including merchandising of product at select customers Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and transit regulations. Provide daily report of all deliveries

What We're Looking For:
Experience:

Previous delivery driving or professional driving experience is a plus, but not required.

License:

Must possess a valid, current driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations).

Minimum age:

21 (state law requirement to handle alcohol)

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift up to [e.g., 30-40] lbs comfortably and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Schedule:

Ability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some days might be longer. No weekends

Mental Ability:

Ability to quickly adjust when customer needs change, such as changes to order quantities last minute, additional deliveries added to route, etc. This can be a high paced job at times.

Attributes:

Dependable, punctual, organized, clean, and polite.

Must have:

Reliable vehicle to get to and from the warehouse Personal computer or laptop

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
