Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Haul Truck Driver and take on the exciting challenge of transporting oversized, overweight and heavy machinery. In this role, you will transport heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and industrial components using specialized trailers like lowboys or RGN's. This role requires advanced driving skills, strict route planning, and precise load securement to comply with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Operate specialized commercial vehicles to transport oversized, overweight, or massive industrial freight, such as construction machinery. Ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all phases of transportation. Load and unload heavy equipment. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on trucks, trailers, and securement gear. Keep accurate logs of driving hours and follow all safety and transit laws.

Basic qualifications:

Valid class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of road safety regulations. Must be able to pass a DOT regulated drug screen and a pre-employment drug screen.
