Job Description

PODS is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will operate a CDL truck to deliver, pick up, and accurately position portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll conduct thorough vehicle inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and use on-board equipment to load, unload, and secure containers. As a key face of PODS, you'll provide courteous, problem-solving customer service at each stop while coordinating closely with dispatch and operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to build logistics and field operations skills with a growing company that values teamwork, reliability, and opportunities for advancement across its nationwide network. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL truck to deliver, pick up, and reposition PODS containers to residential and commercial locations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting and reporting any maintenance or safety issues. Operate lift and material handling equipment to load, unload, and properly secure containers. Communicate professionally with customers, confirming placement locations and resolving access or safety concerns. Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures at all times. Plan daily routes to meet delivery windows while maximizing efficiency and minimizing drive time. Complete required logs, delivery documentation, and electronic records accurately and on time. Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to respond to schedule changes and service issues. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and represent PODS positively at every customer interaction.
