Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment as needed, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and route planning. Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving with a focus on freight handling. Knowledge of various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment for automobile transportation.
