Job Description

Hogan Transportation is hiring CDL A Truck Drivers to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. Drivers will safely transport freight across assigned regional and/or dedicated lanes, maintain accurate logs, and ensure on-time deliveries. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers in regional/dedicated lanes Transport freight while following all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and required delivery documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff Secure loads properly and ensure freight is handled safely Adhere to route plans and delivery schedules for on-time performance Report equipment issues promptly for maintenance and repair Provide professional, courteous customer service at all delivery locations Participate in ongoing safety meetings and training programs Required Skills CDL A tractor-trailer operation DOT and FMCSA regulations knowledge Electronic logging devices (ELD) use Defensive driving and safety practices Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Freight securement (straps, chains, load bars) Route planning and time management Hazard recognition and accident prevention Basic documentation and paperwork accuracy Customer service and communication
