CDL-A OTR

Flatbed Driversprimarily transport Quartz, Marble, and Stone slabs and other building material requiring flatbed capabilities from factory, trans loaders and warehouses to other warehouses and fabricators/customers. Drivers will be interfacing with customers and expectations will be to ensure a best-in-class customer service where safety is non-negotiable. Our Dispatch team will remain in constant communication in support of you, your equipment, and any DOT compliance requirements.

Job Requirements:

Be at least 25 years old due to insurance compliance. Possess a Class A commercial drivers license (CDL). Minimum of 2 years flatbed experience Have a minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience required MVRs no more than 2 Minors (moving violations) or no more than 1 accident or no more than 3 non-moving violations (not in combination) within 36 months. Have good interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Be expected to adhere to all safety procedures, strap, unstrap, and tarp loads etc.

Job Duties:

Operate flatbed trucks and trailers to manage distribution and deliveries of goods and services from the warehouse to various assigned designations. Coordinate loads with Sealy Dispatch and Logistics staff. Plan routes and deliveries based on traffic conditions, road closures, and pick-up and delivery deadlines. Secure loads with tarps and chains to prevent damage or loss during transit. Respond to the customers' inquiries and concerns in real time Assist to ensure Sealy is compliant with all state and federal regulations. Maintain complete and accurate paperwork and documentation for each delivery. Maintain the truck clean and in good operating condition by regularly conducting maintenance checks. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and document any issues with the truck.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent. Clear driving record Proven experience a CDL driver required. Familiarity with tools and equipment. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development. Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
