Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL-A Tractor Belly Dump Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty tractor-trailer combinations equipped with belly dump trailers to transport and dump materials efficiently across various job sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to maintaining equipment will ensure smooth project progress and safety compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects while showcasing your skills in utility work and heavy machinery operation. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-B tractor-trailer combinations with belly dump trailers to transport bulk materials such as gravel, dirt, and aggregate on construction sites. Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, ensuring all equipment meets safety standards and is properly maintained. Follow all federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and site-specific safety protocols during daily operations. Coordinate with site supervisors and utility locating teams to ensure timely delivery of materials for excavation, grading, and utility installation projects. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, inspections, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation for regulatory purposes. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL-B license required; experience operating belly dump trailers preferred. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures necessary for safe operations on active job sites.
