$24.63 /hour Mon-Fri start between 5:45-6:30am - end between 2:15-3:00pm SUMMARY Responsible for the delivery of merchandise to customers within the expected time parameters.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

High School or equivalent and 1+ year of safe commercial driving experience (class A or B CDL). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve and prioritize work. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to maintain a current DOT Medical Certification and comply with all DOT regulations as required. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, twist, stand, and lift between 60-100 lbs while loading and unloading delivery truck at each stop (15-30 stops per day). Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Deliver merchandise according to pre-determined route. Unload correct merchandise and check order, noting any corrections. Complete all assigned reports and paperwork at the end of day. Communicate with Manager any system or documentation problems identified throughout the day. Pick-up returned merchandise per return authorization. Comply with all DOT safety and documentation regulations. Perform safety and housekeeping duties as they pertain to Edward Don & Company and OSHA standards. Effectively communicates to customers and all levels of staff. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Degrees/Certificates Minimum Required:

High School or GED or equivalent Experience One-year route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred) Must be able to read and understand English. Skills Operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions. Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company. Meet or exceed established cases per error goals Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills. Effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision. Frequent lifting of product up to 50 lbs. during the shift, infrequent lifting to 80 lbs. Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling Must be able to work in confined spaces
