Position Summary:

Responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations. The driver performs vehicle inspections, secures cargo, follows assigned routes and schedules, and complies with all DOT and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial vehicles safely and professionally. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Load, unload, and properly secure cargo. Transport freight according to assigned routes and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork. Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel. Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance or mechanical issues. Maintain a clean driving record and comply with hours-of-service requirements. Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
