Operate and maintain heavy trucks and tractor-trailers to transport materials and equipment to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Safely load and unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment, adhering to company and industry safety standards. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and minor repairs as needed to keep equipment in optimal condition. Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including accurate completion of daily logs and required documentation. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and site supervisors regarding schedules, routes, and potential issues. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and adaptability when navigating construction zones or challenging work environments. Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude with clients, coworkers, and the public. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varying shifts as required by project needs.
