Permanent Employment Help for . Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver - Roll-Off to support demolition and waste removal operations. The successful candidate will operate roll-off trucks, transport debris and materials to and from job sites, and safely load, secure, and unload containers and equipment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and proper vehicle operation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an active demolition/construction environment and is willing to assist with general site duties when needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safely operate a CDL roll-off truck to transport containers, demolition debris, and other materials.
Deliver, position, exchange, and pick up roll-off containers at various job sites.
Pull and maneuver a trailer safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Secure loads and ensure materials are transported in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
Safely operate trucks and related equipment in construction and demolition environments.
Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and transportation records as required.
Follow designated routes and comply with traffic and company safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Assist with loading, unloading, cleanup, and other general labor duties as needed.
Communicate professionally with customers, job-site personnel, and management.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required.
Must be able to safely pull and maneuver a trailer.
Previous roll-off, demolition, construction, waste management, or commercial driving experience preferred.
Clean and safe driving record preferred.
Ability to safely operate heavy vehicles and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors and in an active demolition/construction environment.
Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, climb, and perform physical labor as needed.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Pre-employment drug screening required.
Work Environment This position may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around active demolition, construction, heavy equipment, debris, dust, and other job-site hazards. Proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment must be followed at all times.
