Job Overview Join our team as a Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across various routes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and specialized trailers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently, maintaining vehicle safety, and providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow optimal delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Manage the transportation of materials according to safety protocols Load, secure, transport, and unload freight efficiently while maintaining cargo integrity and adhering to logistics cargo handling procedures Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving or freight transportation with a focus on route driving Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, and safe truck loading/unloading practices Skilled in using GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks safely Experience with truck loading/unloading equipment and logistics cargo handling techniques Strong understanding of safety protocols related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials transportation Join us as a Driver to enjoy a rewarding career filled with exciting routes and opportunities to grow within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in logistics!
