Duties Safely operate commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver products along designated routes. Manage route schedules efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. Conduct heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when loading and unloading merchandise, ensuring proper handling of goods. Build lasting customer relationships through friendly communication, addressing client needs, and providing excellent customer service. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize client satisfaction. Perform merchandising tasks such as organizing displays and ensuring products are presented appealingly at customer locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, and route logs; communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to resolve issues promptly. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to traffic laws. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver's license. Familiarity with route driving, retail store environments, or customer relationship building is highly desirable. Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory adjustments. Demonstrated ability in sales or upselling techniques within a retail or service setting. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle merchandise efficiently; organizational skills to manage route schedules effectively.
