Job Description

___________________________________________TIME REQUIREMENTS
_Drivers are required Monday to Friday from 7am to 9am and 2:45 pm to 5pm. Drivers may also apply for positions within our day program should they need more hours up to 30 hr/weekMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive routes as assigned. 2. Responsible for welfare of passengers. 3. Completion of all required paperwork. 4. Team Player.SPECIFIC DUTIES
1. Drive routes as assigned. Coordinate with supervisor to maintain schedule. Arrive and leave on time. Follow transportation policies and procedures as outlined in the Transportation packet. 2. Responsible for the welfare of passengers . Drive defensively, with safety always as the top priority. No cell phone or ear bud usage of any kind while operating any CETC vehicle. Monitor the conditions of passengers to ensure health and safety. 3. Completion of all required paperwork. Take attendance. Take effective and specific notes for any incidents as necessary. c) Complete other required reports (pre-trip inspection and mileage reports). 4. Team Player. Attend staff meetings/trainings as required. Completion of all training requirements i.e. CPR-FA, SOAR, Modules, etc., per your position by given due date. Request time off by following CETC Time-Off Policy and notifying Transportation Coordinator. Driver is responsible for finding a substitute to cover their shift unless otherwise arranged. Assist with the clean-up of van as needed. Carry out communication and develop a positive working relationship with the person parents, providers, staff and funding agencies in a professional manner. Report any concerns to your supervisor and/or coordinator. Develop pro-active solutions to concerns that arise. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
1) High school diploma or equivalency preferred 2) Experience working with people with disabilities preferred 3) Able to provide detailed instructions to people with varying levels of abilities 3) Team member, good communication skills, able to work well with families & community professionals 4) Experience in behavior modification helpful but not necessary 5) Must be able to lift 150 lbs 6) Meet driver eligibilty requirements.Similar remote jobs
