This energetic role combines the thrill of roadside assistance with hands-on mechanical work, offering a rewarding opportunity to showcase your automotive expertise and driving skills. You'll be responsible for safely towing a variety of vehicles, performing minor repairs, and providing exceptional customer service to drivers in need. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery tow trucks, to transport vehicles across various locations. Perform vehicle recovery towing, ensuring adherence to cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading procedures. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to assist stranded drivers or prepare vehicles for transport. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or maintenance on trucks and customer vehicles. Load and unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards; handle cargo securement protocols diligently. Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or roadside incidents. Maintain accurate logs of all towing and repair activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical vehicle repair. Proven ability in commercial truck driving, including experience with flatbed tow trucks. Skilled in automotive troubleshooting, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and basic vehicle repairs. Excellent driving skills with a valid DOT Medical card and clean driving record. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols, safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks, and vehicle recovery towing techniques. Effective conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and profession Respond to Police call within 20 minutes or less Clean up accident scenes efficiently and safely Deliver vehicles to locations across Utah and surrounding areas PPI impounds Ability to pass a background check and drug test must be 26 years or older with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) Must live in the Salt Lake Valley This role offers an exciting blend of driving, mechanical work, and customer interaction—perfect for motivated individuals eager to make an impact on the road every day!
Pay:
