Overview Salary Range $18.00 - $20.00 Level Entry Position Type Part Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Category Transportation Description Spring Gardens Assisted Living in North Ogden, UT is looking to hire a
PART TIME DRIVER
to provide transportation services to our residents throughout the day and filling in as an activities assistant when there are no scheduled drives. The Driver for Spring Gardens is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities and medical appointments while providing quality service.
Essential Functions:
. Drives community vehicles to different locations as scheduled by the Activities Director or Executive Director. This includes assisting residents in and out of the vehicle, driving the vehicle, operating and securing wheelchairs and other assistive devices properly, and making sure residents return to the community safely. Schedules outside appointments within specific driving radius and allotted time frame(s). Maintains paperwork related to the community vehicles including mileage logs, charge slips, and maintenance slips. Practices safe driving habits at all times when transporting residents. Immediately reports all incidents with vehicles and/or residents to the Executive Director. Informs the Activities Director when maintenance of the vehicles (including vacuuming, washing, and engine care) is needed.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years of age. Must have a finger print clearance card. CPR/First aid certified High school diploma or equivalent. Have and maintain a valid UT driver's license with a "clean" driving record for past three years. Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Must have dependable transportation and be able to work varying hours as needed, which may include weekends. Share job details to
