Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites and routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to manage cargo handling will ensure efficient and reliable service. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable Safely load, unload, and secure freight, including hazardous or dangerous goods, ensuring proper handling according to safety protocols Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems along over-the-road (OTR) routes and local delivery paths Transport freight such as construction materials, debris, or other cargo via tractor-trailer or flatbed configurations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any maintenance issues promptly Load and unload cargo manually or with equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security during transit Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving with a focus on freight transport Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump trucks Experience operating different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or tankers Skilled in manual handling and truck loading/unloading operations with attention to safety protocolsbe Must be able to drive a 15 and 18 speed manual transmission Ability to manage manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle heavy cargo safely This role is vital in supporting our logistics operations by ensuring timely deliveries while prioritizing safety at every step.
