Home nightly with great benefits and working environment. Responsibilities Transport goods and construction materials over land to and from pits or job sites Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and notify dispatch of any mechanical issues Plan routes and be safe Document and log loading and unloading times and weights as well as notate any delays or changes to workday and retain fuel receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations) as well as with company policies and procedures Safely maneuver trucks into loading & unloading positions at pits or job sites Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Qualifications Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Valid Class A-B CDL for a Minimum of 2 years operating a dump truck end dump, strong arm end dump or cement mixer truck with a trailing tag axel.
