Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, and dump trucks. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of vehicles including tractor-trailers, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo. Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Experience operating various types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, tankers, and dump trucks. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during deliveries. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
