Job Description
Job Overview Come work for a company with a family friendly environment. Oaks Bros Trucking Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time professional Class A CDL truck driver. We work with a local company hauling water, drilling mud, and cement. Majority of the work is local but will have to be willing to work some out-of-town jobs. Duties This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Must be capable of pulling hoses, coupling hoses, loading and unloading products correctly and stowing the hoses and equipment for travel. Upkeep and minor repairs on truck and trailer for FMSCA compliance. Maintain cleanliness of semi truck. Manage route planning to optimize travel time and fuel efficiency. Drivers are responsible for accurately completing all tickets and sending them to company representative in a timely manner. Work any hour of the day/night. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road. Skills Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsements. 2 years of verifiable driving experience - Clean MVR is preferred. Pass pre-employment drug screening and adhere to drug and alcohol policy. Participate in company clearinghouse program per FMSCA. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on the road. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and dispatchers.
