Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that combines skill, responsibility, and adventure! In this position, you will operate tractor-trailers across various routes, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will be vital in transporting a wide range of cargo, including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, and specialty freight such as flatbed or tanker loads. This role offers the opportunity to work on over-the-road (OTR) routes, navigate GPS systems efficiently, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA guidelines. Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport. Navigate using GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently while adjusting plans as needed for traffic or weather conditions. Transport various types of freight including flatbed loads, and material hauling via dump truck while complying with hazardous materials regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure truck safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo manifests in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Dump truck experience preferred Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains. Must pass be able to pass a drug test
