Established Industrial Packaging and Janitorial Supply Company is seeking a reliable, safety-minded, and customer-focused driver to join our team in Ashland, VA . This is a Monday-Friday, day-shift position with no weekends or holidays required. You'll be home every night. No CDL is required. Our drivers operate a 26-foot straight truck and deliver packaging, janitorial, and related supplies from our Ashland, VA warehouse to business customers throughout the Virginia region. What You'll Do Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck on local delivery routes Deliver products to commercial customers throughout the Virginia region Complete daily vehicle inspections and follow all DOT, traffic, safety, and weight regulations Verify delivery orders for accuracy and product condition Provide professional, punctual, and courteous service to our customers Safely load and unload products Hand-carry and stock products in and out of customer locations as required Use a company-provided smartphone to complete electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment What We Offer $19.00-$21.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time, direct-hire position Monday-Friday day shift Home every night No weekends No holidays required Paid time off Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Requirements & Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from our Ashland, VA warehouse Company truck is provided during work hours Must successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card Clean driving record with fewer than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds Professional demeanor and strong customer-service skills Strong commitment to safety and reliability 3 years of straight-truck driving experience preferred This position does not require a CDL. Previous experience safely operating a straight truck or similar commercial delivery vehicle is preferred.
